Man held in Potch over drugs

Johannesburg - A Nigerian man was arrested in Potchefstroom, North West, after being found in possession of various drugs on Tuesday, police said.

Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said police were conducting a routine search when the drugs were discovered in the man's home on the Bult.

"Cocaine, LSD, ecstasy, Mandrax, tik and rock cocaine to the value of R41 850 were confiscated."

It was the second time the 29-year-old had been arrested in connection with drugs.

"[He] was also arrested for dealing in drugs on July 27 and was released on bail."

The man was expected to appear soon in the Potchefstroom Magistrate's Court on a charge of dealing in drugs.

    The solution is simple send them back home all of them otherwise our country gonna rot. If government is unable to deal with them then give us ithuba sibone ukuthi sezani ngabo.
