Johannesburg - A 21-year-old man suspected of killing another man in a tavern in Willowvale was arrested by local residents, Eastern Cape police said on Tuesday.

The man allegedly stabbed a 32-year-old to death during an argument over the ownership of a fighting stick on Monday, Captain Jackson Manatha said.

"The 32-year-old man who was the lawful owner of the fighting stick was stabbed to death," he said.

The alleged killer would appear in the Willowvale Magistrate's Court soon.

Madness @ its best - just a fighting stick some body my loss life just like that? This sickness must come to an end, this culture of killing is not African - please still time lets change our time is now. When a person dies - the following also are at lose; 1. His or her family 2. Children orphaned 3. employers must train onather one to replace him 4. The government and the public will no longer benefit from his/her development initiatives. Almighty God created us with a reason - one being worshiping and praising him, time comes then a person dies, so don't be the cause of the death of a person lest you get punished here & hereafter.
