Durban - A man was arrested when he was found carrying suspected stolen goods in a wheelbarrow in Umbumbulu, outside Durban, on Monday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

"The man was unable to give a reasonable account of how he had come to be in possession of the property and he was arrested," Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said.

The wheelbarrow contained women’s clothing, a DVD player, shoes, hats, bags, cutlery and groceries.

The 20-year-old man would appear in the Umbumbulu Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
