Mahikeng - A police officer accused of shoplifting two tubes of mascara has been granted R500 bail by the Potchefstroom Magistrate's Court, North West police said on Tuesday.

Lieutenant Colonel Kenaleone Aggy Motloung, of the crime intelligence unit, appeared in court on Monday, Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said.

Ngubane said she was arrested at Clicks at the Mooiriver Mall on Friday.
