PICS: Media tour inside Nkandla

Select media have been allowed into President Jacob Zuma's Nkandla homestead in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday for an official tour. See all the latest pictures from inside Nkandla here.

Durban - Journalists will be given the same tour of the Nkandla homestead as Members of Parliament, including a demonstration at his so-called “firepool”.

News24’s Amanda Khoza, who entered the homestead with other journalists on Sunday morning, said they were being briefed in the visitor’s centre about the itinerary.

General Mondli Bethuel Zuma explained that they would head to the SAPS control room, the "amphitheatre", the pool and then the house referred to in Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s report.

Following that, they would visit the state garages, the animal enclosure, culvert, chicken run inside the kraal and then the clinic.

“There will be a demonstration at the pool by firefighters from Richards Bay,” Khoza said from the scene.
