My heart bleeds for him and his family

      Squeegee - 2011-12-31 15:43

Man, this makes me angry. Some people should have to apply for lisences to have children.

      newelld - 2011-12-31 16:56

@Squeegee Everyone should have to apply for a child license...

      phillip.havenga - 2011-12-31 17:52

Sheep your name is apt you two braincelled fool. Firstly this has nothing to do with the DA as this happens in the cANCer controlled areas as well and secondly you mongrel this is not the time to bring your idiocy out.

      Malcolm - 2011-12-31 22:48

Sheep, get some brain cells in 2012, it will help you in the world.

      Sharkshoot - 2012-01-01 09:15

South Africa is filled to the brim with useless unproductive members of society. This includes the mother and the murdering scum that roam our streets looking for victims.

      JuditVictor - 2012-01-01 12:37

But of course it's just the other way round. In THIS country they get PAID (yes really) to get babies.

  • Malcolm - 2011-12-31 15:40

Dear God. Please punish all the cruel people on this earth and make them suffer for their cruelty upon Your children.

      Huey - 2011-12-31 16:09

Dear God, try not to let it happen in the first place.

      Malcolm - 2011-12-31 16:31

Dear Huey, That's almost impossible. The Devil will always find his way into these people.

      Petronell - 2011-12-31 16:43

Huey, He gave us free will. People who harms other people, uses their free will to do so. They will however suffer the consequences.

      emile.eley - 2011-12-31 16:58

Huey is proof positive of the Devil's power.

      Balletjies - 2011-12-31 17:07

Huye, God never made it happen - the devil is mightier than what you give him credit for.

      Arthur - 2011-12-31 17:19

If God is so great, how is it that the devil is in control?

      Balletjies - 2011-12-31 19:14

Arthur, God is in control of those who serve Him - the devil controls those who does not serve God. Shows you how corrupt the world has become if it seems the devil is in control.

      Mark - 2011-12-31 21:10

there is no god, and there is no devil. there are just good people and bad people.

      michel.pieterse - 2012-01-01 06:30

So Balletjies, only bad people gets murdered then?

      Balletjies - 2012-01-01 11:07

Michel, it is irrelevant how you die - what is important is where your soul ends up afterwards - you can choose my man!

  • Kate - 2011-12-31 15:41

Such sad news. Condolences to the family

  • ozzie.oz1 - 2011-12-31 15:46

Who ever did this is a savage!!! Every time I read or hear of a story like this my stomach turns. May he get caught and get what he derserves - either by mob justice or his cell inmates. May you rot a very slow and painful death, you scum of the earth!

  • Jean-Paul - 2011-12-31 16:10

What type of scum steals a child to kill them. This is so sad i was hoping they would find the boy alive. I can't Imagine what the family is going through at moment.RIP

  • Gerda - 2011-12-31 16:14

I agree with Carolyn. Two years old is a bit young to get lost. I wonder how many women/girls get babies just to qualify for government grant and once they have them abandons them or does not look properly after them because they are a hindrance to them. They don't realise to have a child costs more than the social grant of which spending time with them is one. Would be interesting to see how births will decline once the government announces no social grants anymore.

      desmond.leaner - 2011-12-31 16:30

If this comment from an intelligent mind, you need to revisit your method of evaluating intelligence.

      violet.bossut - 2011-12-31 16:55

I just cannot reply to this dumb people anymore. I just wish they would shut up. Oh forgot empty barrels make the most noise.

      Pixie86 - 2011-12-31 19:03

how very assuming of you gerda to think this was some teen mom who was poor and lived on a social grant. You're a complete idiot.

      Shamiel - 2011-12-31 19:38

you have no right to say this. the mother was married!!!! this child was not a product for social relief.. think about what you saying cos there are people out there who really needs it!

      Heidi - 2012-01-01 01:47

His mother was questioned for child abandonment and negligence. What does that say to you? Maybe she was to busy partying to notice he was gone?

  • duettists - 2011-12-31 16:16

  • Twolips - 2011-12-31 16:27

We don't even know exactly what happened and some people find it necessary to comment negatively. Just think of this poor little boy and how frightened he must have been.

My son is 2 and the thought of him being hurt, nevermind killed, by a stranger makes my blood run cold. I can only imagine what his mommy must be going through. May God embrace his tiny soul. This is not a race issue people, it's a sign of the distorted times we live in. My wife and I are both heartbroken and feel so terribly sad. This is just wrong.

I agree with violet. A child can disappear from your side so quickly. One minute you busy talking to him/her at your side, the next you in panic cause they one step behind you. People should not judge a mother whose child goes out of her sight for a second or a few minutes. It happens very quickly for them (children) to leave your side, especially at a place that is busy and interesting like a mall or inside a toy shop. I feel for the family and hope his soul is at peace.

  • dgdirks - 2011-12-31 19:11

To sheep - it's idiots like you who don't recognise that the government is not the be all and end all of all your problems that keeps this country in the grips of archaic dogma.

  • Jennifer Gurling - 2011-12-31 22:07

This is really heartbreaking. How can anyone do this to a child. I am feeling so sad and angry at the same time. When this monster is found he/she should spend the rest of their life in prison amongst the most hardened prisoners, especially those who are parents.

  • Carla Smit - 2011-12-31 23:13

I do not understand why there are people giving ''thumbs down'' for those expressing sympathy.. This is in deed a sad story.. May this little boy rest in peace!

  • Silvana - 2012-01-01 06:10

I heard on the radio news yesterday evening that the little one's eyes had been gouged out. I cannot finds words to express my hatred and revulsion.

  • Maimoonah Parker - 2012-01-01 12:44

I don't understand how they can be so cruel to kill a little kid of 2years! Its sad to know how mothers kill there babies while some mothers can't even get kids that so much want!!! I pray that Allah(god) guide us all through the journey of life with wisdom & protect us al & our kids! AMEEN!!!! May Allah grant Tauriq a High place in JANNAH AMEEN!!!!!!

  • saudiqua - 2012-01-03 12:29

As a mother of a 2 year old boy, I can never imagine how someone can do this to there own child?

  • Sigmund - 2012-01-09 14:17

ladies and gentleman who comment on this. Its not the devil nor God thats responsible for the things that happen on this planet. He(God)gave us free will, therefor its us and not they that we have to blame.Stamp ek my toon dan is dit die duiwel,Jare dis jy wat jou toon gestamp het en nie die bleddie duiwel nie.

  • Mphozessed - 2012-01-09 14:38
