Port Elizabeth - A 37-year-old woman and her five year-old son burnt to death in their shack in Oesterbay on Wednesday, Eastern Cape police said.

Wake up government. People shouldn't have to live in shacks with all the promises you've made. RIP.

This is very sad!!! Build houses for these people they deserve to live in a safe environment. ANC where is the houses that you promised the people? You want them to vote for you but you leave them to live like animals. Do something! Stop stealing the money and build them the houses you have promised they deserve better! How many more must die before you do anything?

You mean the ANC are doing their best to upgrade Nkandla, support Zuma's huge family and give tenders to their buddïes, hence this woman being a classic example of how the ANC is "trying its best". She and her little boy died in a SHACK. The problem is with people like you is the moment someone shouts apartheid, you and fellow ANC lemmings forget what the initial problem at hand was and just point fingers. 18 years is more than enough time for the ANC to get their house in order and make sure the money is going where it needs to. Please note that I have not said correct injustices, it will take longer. You can't blame the whites anymore. Your own people are selling you out for a quick buck and people are dying needlessly.

You are absolutely correct Sharmay the ANC has failed its people. They always come up with excuses but no solutions. SA is dying a slow and painful death. There is still going to be many more Nkandlas to rise in the near future. Poverty will never end with the ANC in command.

I don't what u guys expect from the ANC, they proven beyond reasonable doubt they are completely and hopelessly incapable of running the state. Their mandate was clear n concise get rid of appartheid and that achieved I don't see their reason for existence! On the opposite there's no alternative party that can govern fairly to everyone

Zuma sums it up: it's the African way. So sad.

      dewaldt.duplessis.5 - 2012-12-27 11:10

Mondli I think almost any other party is better than the current ANC leadership no matter the size. We are doomed I want to believe that things will become better but the sad truth is it won't.
