THE man accused of killing another man over “road rage”, Ian Williams, reportedly fell off his bicycle and hit his head on concrete on Sunday, according to a doctor’s note handed to the high court yesterday.

But Judge Mahendra Chetty was not satisfied yet with the explanation for Williams’s failure to appear in court this week and wants additional information.

The case was yesterday again held over until today, pending more inquiries into whether Williams’s health and fitness to attend his trial.

“He hit his head on concrete and sustained head injuries and there was a loss of conscious (sic) on the scene. He has been admitted to the above hospital for neuro observation. He is currently very unfit for any legal proceedings,” the note stated.

Williams is charged with the murder of Tyron Terry at Imbali by allegedly shooting him in the head a day after the two men clashed over an allegation that, whilst driving, Williams had “changed lanes and swerved in front of” Terry
