Johannesburg - North West police say a mentally ill man has been arrested for killing another man in the Cokonyane village in Taung.
The man, 33, allegedly stabbed the 42-year-old following an argument, said spokesperson Pelonomi Makau.
"It is alleged that both men, who are mentally unstable, had an argument that led to the suspect stabbing the victim in his ribs," she said. He was declared dead on the scene.
The man would appear in the Taung Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of murder.
