Newborn dumped in Eastern Cape

Johannesburg - A newborn baby has been found in a plastic bag in Whittlesea, Eastern Cape police said on Tuesday.

Warrant Officer Namhla Mdleleni said community members found the baby on Sunday afternoon.

"The baby was taken to Dongwe Hospital for [a] check-up."

Police were searching for the mother and a case of child abandonment was being investigated.

Whittlesea is near Queenstown.

    Why do woman do this to innocent babbies, they didnt ask to be born into this creul world!!! Woman have so many options eg. abortion free and safe,adoption, fostering etc. That mother should be put into jail for a long time!!!!
