Cape Town - Two armed robbers have still not been arrested after they hit the MyCiti bus terminus in Sea Point, Western Cape police said on Tuesday.

The men entered the station in Queens Road on Sunday morning and threatened a guard collecting money from the drop safe, said Captain FC van Wyk.

“The suspects took the complainant’s service pistol and forced him to the floor. They then took the money box with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.”

No shots were fired or injuries sustained.

The case was handed to the Hawks for investigation.

Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said they had added the details of the stolen 9mm firearm to their database and were investigating further.
