Passenger train crash in Pretoria

Pretoria - A major accident involving at least one passenger train occurred in Pretoria on Thursday morning.

Details are sketchy and it is unclear if the train collided with a taxi or with another passenger train.

Netcare911’s Chris Botha said the train collided with a taxi whereas eNCA reported that two trains have crashed head-on.

Scores of people were injured, reported eNCA.

More details to follow.

      Exactly... How can you not know!!!! Three is a huge difference between 2 TRAINS and a TAXI!!!!

    This is really bad reporting. There's a MAJOR difference between a train hitting a taxi and a train hitting another train. Get it together News24.

    How on earth it can be unclear whether it crashe with a taxi or another train? Prasa must do something about this old trains, im glad that new trains are coming. I hope passengers are not badly injured.

    One Metro train drove into the back of another train. Not to worry lack of experience will prevail. Two train now set alight on the Umlazi line.
