Johannesburg – Gauteng police on Monday released a photo of a man wanted in connection with the murder of a police officer in Orange Farm.

A reward was being offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction, Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said in a statement.

A group of heavily armed men shot and killed Constable Norman Muhlari outside the Orange Farm train station in the early hours of Thursday, August 6. His colleague was assaulted. Both officers’ firearms were stolen.

The investigating officer, Colonel Wiseman Sephungu, could be contacted on 071-363- 3730 or Crime Stop on 08600-10111.
