Johannesburg - A KwaZulu-Natal school principal accused of raping 11 of his pupils appeared in the Scottburgh Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

Spokesperson Thulani Zwane said the case was postponed to 12 November.

"He will remain in custody until then," said Zwane.

The 44-year-old was arrested at his school in Umkomaas on Monday after the girls told police that he had raped them in his office.

Police had been at the school to speak to pupils about their rights and had highlighted sexual abuse.

Hand him over to the parents of these young girls. I know what I would do if I was the mother of one of these children!
