Why stab an 11 year old girl! Raping is enough to scar her for life but why stab her. Disgusting!

At the risk of getting loads of thumbs down, why were the children not being supervised? Ja so I mustn't judge till I know all the facts but never, just NEVER must a young girl be alone where there is access to her. Children are innocent creatures who assume we the guardians will protect them and that is what we have to do.

      Garth Baldwin - 2013-07-04 15:37

chez .. in an ideal world children never wonder off or accept sweats from strangers. however it is unreasonable to expect parent to have 24h surveillance over their children. perhaps the parents were negligent but perhaps the perpetrator was cunning enough to avoid detection. I think that regardless the parents are going thru hell right now knowing what happened to their daughter

She was asleep in her house...

      Na-aem Williams - 2013-07-04 14:56

@Mahlatse I hope some1 does not alert the police , i think you should take matters into your own hands , i will take pride into doing it myself i will do it with a cold heart

      Garth Baldwin - 2013-07-04 15:39

it annoys me when people Ty to bring god into things like this.. if your god gave a Damn about her this would never have happened!!!

      Na-aem Williams - 2013-07-04 15:50

@Mahlaste i dream of that day to come, "we" are too busy fighting with politics which is less important.

      Mahlatse Patience - 2013-07-04 16:24

@Garth.please don't be rediculous,if it was your daughter what were you going to do?God is been there she raped and stabbed, and she still alive, don't be paranoid, don't undermine me because you don't even know me.speak like a matured and responsible man, don't act like you're still on adolescent,i'm sure your family says thanks if you are away/out,because your brain is still in the sardines' tin,you deserve to be in class with grade R's.

I wish to come accross a rapist ,i will know what to do with them ,what scum they are .What is the point asking death penalty if know1 is willing to protest for it to take place.

      Mahlatse Patience - 2013-07-04 15:32

There you are right we need to stand up show that we want death penalty to be instated.otherwise not so long all girls will be the victims of rape in this country, you are talking there.

  • Na-aem Williams - 2013-07-04 15:22

@Chez i understand what you saying and i respect your opinion ,but some extreme punishment has to take place once proven guilty and i dont think life in prison would be extreme, this is not only to rapist its to all those scums out there who kills innocent lives just because they can.Maybe i was abit over board with my comment but this is how far we are driven to start thinking that death sentence would be a good thing, i will thumbs up for your comment.

Get well soon child what I see these days is that the new goverment was better than the old goverment because a lot of people have got rights and privilages that they did not have however those privilages and rights are abused look at us today we are the world jokes when I think that SA was a dignified country let's hope it will come right one day.

  • Flynn Govender - 2013-07-04 16:19

It's a terrible shame to hear about incidents like this. Our judicial system must take drastic actions when convicting these criminals

  • Charmaine McDonald - 2013-07-04 16:44

The rapists deserve death and before that suffering. I pray that the rapists be found and God's Justice will be done. Heal the raped victims.
