Satanic rituals reported at CT school

2012-05-24 10:06

Cape Town - Special police units have been sent to a Mitchells Plain high school after reports that children were engaging in satanic rituals.

The Cape Argus reported that the pupils had apparently cut themselves and drunk their own blood and had drawn upside-down crosses on school property.

Special workshops have been organised with children and their parents at Tafelsig High.

A community police forum spokesperson said a parent had come to him for help and that this had led to “a can of worms” being opened at the school.

Members of the police and a church were involved in addressing problems at the school.
The school principal could not be reached for comment.

once again, as much as people dislike it, satanism is protected under our constitution. as is every religion. most people do not understand it, yet they judge it based on the acts of theistic satanists who sacrifice stuff out of stupidity, make a mockery of knowledge found within and are just barbaric imbeciles, go read the satanic bible, and dont worry you wont get possessed, but it will open your eyes to alot of stuff you perceive to be true. for the record im not athiest nor satanist, its just very good reading...its about realism, humanism, individuality and power.

      Dave - 2012-05-24 10:20

An intelligent, insightful and informative comment Martin. What the hell are you doing on News24?

      Peter - 2012-05-24 10:25

      Nicely said Martin.

      Martin - 2012-05-24 10:26

thanks dave, im gonna get hammered by the kin but hey, they just show their godly behavior everyday on news 24. levey satanism is not about devil worship at all, its self worship, being true to yourself, seeking knowledge for yourself rather than blind faith, even when it comes to satanism its self. he called it satanism purely to piss off christians

      darryn.havenga - 2012-05-24 10:41

I am not sure it is - satanism is not recognised as a religion thus does not enjoy constitutional protection - could be wrong but last time i checked.

      bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 10:57

Funny that you defend it but ''attack'' christianity, the same way you view ignorance as a barrier for learning and not judging it based on a few individuals actions is the same you should afford to christianity, otherwise you are just being a hypocrit.

      Schmee - 2012-05-24 10:57

If it weren't for religion then there wouldn't be satanism.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 10:57

The spectre of the Apartheid era Occult crimes unit is raising it's head again. Next stop - inquisitions and burning. If satanists dont break the law, their rituals are just as meaningless and primitive as any other church or religious belief. This is a clear caser of a sin being legislated as a crime. There is no way that satanism, or catholicism, or any -ism is any less primitive or delusional than the other. All fairy tales. People really get worked up about the intangible and irrelevant.

      Rainbow - 2012-05-24 11:01

satanism is not about devil worship at all, its self worship, being true to yourself, seeking knowledge for yourself rather than blind faith, even when it comes to satanism its self. he called it satanism purely to piss off christians ......... You are deluded. If its not about satan worship then why is it called satanism. I have come in contact with satanists and they sit naked in front of upside down crosses and wordhip satan. They conduct rituals and cerimonies where young girls "presumably" marry the beast. animals and humans are sacrificed for him and satan gives them certain powers by commanding demons to posess them. It is very real and a subject you shouldnt talk about lightly. The satanic bible will promote self because it is in direct contradiction to the bible that teachs us to put God and others first. Its your selfish nature ( man is selfish by nature) that endears you to it. Satanism destroys innocent lives and tears families apart. Parents have lost children to it. No part of it should ever be defended or promoted.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 11:07

@Rainbow nation - That is La Veyan Satanism, a hotch-potch of Ayn Rand, Jack London and Ragnar Redbeard. Secular humanism with the devilry thrown in for fun. Every La Veyan Satanist is an atheist, as they say, they are too proud to worship anybody. The real weirdo's are the theistic satanists, that worship the literal devil of the bible (poor souls, taking the bible literally is damaging to your mental health, irespective of which of the dualistic entities you choose to support. At the end of the day, anybody who has to worship anybody or anything is sad, weak and denying the responsibility for themselves inherrent in the human condition. So there.

      Phillip - 2012-05-24 11:20

You yourself look and sound awfully messed up Martin. From what planet are you?

      Jared - 2012-05-24 11:20

Martin, I have to disagree with you. Rights in our constitution can be limited. See section 36. Note that according to the South African Witchcraft Suppression Act, which prevents "mooty" murders and use of human parts, satanism is actually outlawed. however, this refers more to the practice thereof than the belief, beleive in satan all you wan't just don't let it affect anybody else or contravene the Act. has anybody considered that these kids might have phsycological disorders due to some event or another? it may just be similar to the previously ”popular” emo movement. Maybe the kids just want attention? Instead of accusing them of being “evil,” though yes, I basically agree with everything else that you have said; in a different manner.

      Martin - 2012-05-24 11:39

The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth 1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked. 2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them. 3. When in another's lair, show him respect or else do not go there. 4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy. 5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal. 6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved. 7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained. 8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself. 9. Do not harm little children. 10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food. 11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

      Martin - 2012-05-24 11:41

The Nine Satanic Statements 1. Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence! 2. Satan represents vital existence, instead of spiritual pipe-dreams! 3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom, instead of hypocritical self-deceit! 4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates! 5. Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek! 6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible, instead of concern for psychic vampires! 7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all fours, who, because of his "divine spiritual and intellectual development" has become the most vicious animal of all! 8. Satan represents all the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification! 9. Satan has been the best friend of the church as he has kept it in business all of these years!

      Man - 2012-05-24 11:43

I read this finger writing in the dust on the back of a bus in Eerste Rivier this morning. "I drink blood" Martin I think you are a satanist. In fact I think your profile photo has been edited to remove your two goat horns sticking out from underneath your hoodie. :))

      bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 11:46

Thats hypocritical, just because i call myself something doesn't mean i am especialy when you add ignorance and fear. Many people call themselves christians because they want to be seen as being good and loving, for example there are people who don't go to church, pray or do anything Christ like but claim Him simply because its convinient and of the way they want to be perceived by others and prodestant christians were also killed, totured and labled as herotics by the catholic church so catholism and many other organisations ( white supremesists, jesuits, polititical parties e.t.c ) have and continue to do great evil in the name of God in order to legitimise what ever to is they do. The bible even speaks about how there will come times when people will kill you, thinking that they are serving God but blessed are those who persecuted for Christ and also that there will be those who will say Lord, Lord i did many things in your name but, Jesus will say depart from me you doers of evil, i never knew you. My point is the same you view satanism as being misrepresented by others is the same way christianity is being attacked by the difference is Jesus said ''they hated Me, so therefore they will hate you too for the servant cannot be greater than the master''.

      Martin - 2012-05-24 11:48

      Martin - 2012-05-24 11:59

dude these kids do not have a clue, they wanna be evil, everyman women and child has a dark side, just look what happens when criminals hurt loved ones, or when a kid does not get its way, or when a country wants oil.... they are projecting a preconceived christian idea of what satanism is and manifesting it in their own lives. they gonna go kill cats and hang em on fences, or kill people and that is not what its about seriously,,i agree intervention needs to happen cos they give some really good people a very bad name and spread hate

      Martin - 2012-05-24 12:07

      Dakey - 2012-05-25 00:36

@Martin: The 'Satanic Bible' is a collection of essays, observations, and rituals published by Anton LaVey in 1969, hence the distinction of 'LaVeyan Satanism'. It is ignorant to try suggest Satanists or devil worshippers somehow should subscribe to this dogma. Perhaps you would like to pass off 'The Satanic Verses' as another important book and Salman Rushdie as a high priest? As much as you would like to down play it, people who actually worship the devil/demons do so (quite obviously) because they actually believe in what they're worshipping.

This matter has nothing to do with RACE, BACKGROUND or RELIGIOUS aspect!!! its a national concern and i do understand the nature of it as there is a lot of influences out there that lead to such, books, tv, movies and also friends.... i urge all to to notice of the information that their kids consume as it may lead to such issues!

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 11:02

Why is it a concern??? If someone does not break the law then what the hell do their religious beliefs have to do with you?? All religion is delusional, how is satanism any more evil than christianity? Satanism has never spawned any religious war or genocide, more than you can say about the followers of jesus. Why not mind your own business and stop being the religious censor you want to be.

      Wilhelm - 2012-05-24 11:11

  • Zing - 2012-05-24 10:57

In other news . . . Christianic rituals had been observed in a church in Pretoria. . . . It is believed the members of the church were condemning the remainder of humanity to hell, if they didn't drink "blood" from a cup. As far as we know, police is not interested in following up on this atrocity.

      Thermophage - 2012-05-24 11:24

But they were observed drinking the "blood of Christ" and eating his flesh...Believing it to really be "his" after it has been blessed or whatever... That't NOT weird at all ofc...

      Groenmeyer - 2012-05-24 12:31

@Thermoflage - The "drinking of blood" is very symbolic>>>like everything else in the church. When you do Holy Communion on a Sunday you "drink from the cup" in rememberence of the blood of Christ that was shed and you "break bread" for His body that was broken on the cross. Zing, remember that Satan, also known as Lucifer, was actually Gods favourite angel until he was thrown out of heaven. So ja, Satanism is as real as heaven and hell is because the one won't be in existance without the other

      Schmee - 2012-05-24 12:38

@Groenmeyer Satan, God, heaven and hell are as real as you believe them to be. All religions have rituals of some sort that look very strange to someone who does not believe in the thing being worshipped.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 14:13

@groenmeyer I agree with ur statement try telling the same thing to subgenuis who think he knows it all

      Schmee - 2012-05-24 14:20

Valecia, I guess your intellectual capacity does not allow you to see the bigger picture and doesn’t allow you to take the blinkers off either.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 14:38

@schmee so what is the bigger picture????from ur point of view

      Schmee - 2012-05-24 14:47

Let me copy and paste for your convenience. Satan, God, heaven and hell are as real as you believe them to be. All religions have rituals of some sort that look very strange to someone who does not believe in the thing being worshipped. Oh wait, I don't think you have taken the blinkers off yet. Oh well.

      Thermophage - 2012-05-24 15:09

@Groenmeyer...when you learn to spell my tag correctly I may flatter you with reading your comment....maybe.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 15:18

@schmee tru point taken in actually fact if it wasn't for god the father to create an angel lucifer there would not have been satan the whole point is that satan tried to be one better than god.satan was a musician he knew all the musical instruments.satan new the bible but juts that he could understand it and becoz he wanted to rule gods kingdom god threw him down with the rest of the angels to burn in sulphur and satan is a spirit he moves around the world causing all sort of bad things and he poisons the young generations mind into doing drugs and to part take in his rituals.

      Schmee - 2012-05-24 15:32

Valecia, stop making excuses for people who take drugs. They do it all by themselves, their own choice. Just like it was my choice not to do illegal things.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 15:38

@schmee for ur info they ppl don't just do drugs all by themselves without being influenced by their peers u got that people don't do it by their own free will.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 15:39

@schmee for ur info the ppl don't just do drugs all by themselves without being influenced by their peers u got that people don't do it by their own free will.

      Valecia - 2012-05-25 08:13

@calvinbruce u say there must banned religion they I suggest they banned this so call satanic rituals as well and all those muti stuff don't u think so

the upside down cross is NOT a satanic symbol. google the story of St Paul, and you will know where the upside down cross comes from

      bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 11:11

Paul was decapitated by the romans, its Peter who was crucified upside down and yes it a satanic symbol, the devil perverts wat God creates.

      Wilhelm - 2012-05-24 11:16

I agree its not a satanic symbol but ppl use it as such although it is not relevant as a satanic symbol. Peter was going to be crucified but he said that he is not worthy of being crucified as his Lord so thus, he was crucified upside down.

      Martin - 2012-05-24 12:01

there is an upside down cross within vatican city, documentory shows it on dstv

      Martin - 2012-05-24 16:30

inside the vatican is the name of the national geographic doccy, its in a prayer room used exclusively by high priest types and the pope, its the first footage ever seen of the area, there is un upside down cross i promise, have a look,

  • bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 11:08

Evil is evil, no two was about it.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 11:12

There is no such thing as a mystical forces like 'evil' or 'good'. These are simply words we use to describe the acts that people do to determine their effect on us. The world is not a dualistic 'good vs evil', the universe is a random chaotic place and there is no possible way of drawing any meaning from anything. 'Good' nad 'Evil' are concepts dating from a time when people didnt know any better, and had to anthropomorphise everything. Evolved human beings moved on from this hundreds of years ago. Maybe the religious minded will catych up one day, but I doubt it.

      bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 11:24

I disagree, evil exists and so does good, otherwise why do we hate hitler and others like him so much and like with good and peopld like mandela? simple e.g but explain

      Martin - 2012-05-24 12:04

bashin, ok i have read both bibles, i have read the Quaran, I HAVE NO DESIRE TO HURT OR KILL ANYONE OR ANYTHING, not for their sexual preferences, not for perceived wrongs done unto me, i seek knowledge and i wont let anything stop me from finding it, not even my own fears

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 12:19

Where is evil and where is good? What does it look like? What are it's properties? So according to your bible, stoning an adulteress to death is 'good', but aborting a foetus that is deformed or the product of incest is 'evil'? Even if there were such supernatural entities as a force of good and a force of evil, the fact remains that christians are the last people who I would trust to tell the difference.

      bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 12:32

Well subgenius, can you prove to me that these things don't exist when history is full of proof that it does? Knowledge is power and your hate for christianity will prevent you from gainint that knowledge, please kindly tell me what this says GODISNOWHERE.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 12:56

It says godisnowhere. That is actually true, as something that does not exist does not have a space-time location. The burden of proof falls upon those making the claim, it is not up to you to make an outlandish statement and then put the onus on me to prove it isn't true. So I am still waiting for your proof that supernatural forces called good and evil actually exist.

      bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 13:30

Well my interpritation is ,God is now here, my point is your worldview dictates how you interprit things, so your whole argument is based on your prejudice, and you are the one making outlandish statements, it is common knowledge that people through out history have always believed in the supernatural and intelectaul snobs have made a point to ridicule anybody who did not share their beliefs and lable them as primitive, go to europe and read of countless religions based on the supernatural, stories of witches and wizards then to africa and the belief existed way before there two continents new of each others existance, the egyptians, the mayans again different parts of the world but both acknowledging the supernatural, native americans, asia. Can you explain to me how even the remotest of tribes spread across the globe can believe in a god of some sort without ever having interacted with anybody outside their places of inhabitants? So i conclude to you and like minded people that it is your job to dispell knowledge that many have had through out history with a common theme of acknowledging the supernatural.

      Jason - 2012-05-24 13:33

Ignore the religious aspect of it and realise it pretty unhealthy for kids to drink their own blood,

      Wilhelm - 2012-05-24 15:06

Sub, boy are you gonna get a wake up call one day when your life ends on earth and you are in front of the largest "mystical force" in the universe. Good luck with that one. By the way. who created the nothing which created evolutionary beings. Even the founder of evolution reported in a statement that "in all my experience I have to admit that there is something greater that could have created everything." Charles Darwin. Do some research before blaming everything on God. Thank you.

Coz if u haven't notice that satan target the younger generation wid all sort of things and by pushing them away from god.and the topic here is about school kids not older generation.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 13:37

Have you taken your meds yet today??

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 14:07

@subgenuis lmao yes I have taken my meds and my meds is the word of god this morning.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 16:00

Can you get the word of god on medical aid?

  • Sifiso A Radebe - 2012-05-24 11:18

satanism is beyond what these minors minds can even fathom i mean they should be expelled for stupidity cause nowhere in hell were they doing the ritual right....their behavior plain and simply reeks of infancy

  • Johnny - 2012-05-24 11:18

I find the drinking blood thing really ... Gross. There is Brandy and Vodka if you are that damm thirsty.

      Jared - 2012-05-24 11:23

you know, consent to injury and all of that. It's not a crime.

      Johnny - 2012-05-24 11:35

I did not consent to anything they are doing. I am a Christian, but preaching to satanists here will be fruitless. As they always have a wise ass comment in reply. I have my religion and they chose theirs.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 12:20

@Johnny - no one cares if you consent or not, what other people do is none of your damn business. The majority of the world does not consent to your iron-age belief system either.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 12:53

@johnny well said amen to that

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 13:13

@subgenius who would wana drink their own blood when there is so many other things to drink.I find that very disgusting.

      SubGenius - 2012-05-24 13:40

Yes. Very revealing comment there Valecia. YOU find it disgusting. And of course, YOU are the censor and guardian of the worlds morality. Stop makng YOUR personal beliefs your god's. Anyway, as a christian, dont you people advocate the drinking of jesus' blood and the eating of his flesh? I find THAT disgusting.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 13:50

@subgenius u got it all wrong in christianity when jesus broke the bread and gave to his disciples he said unto thee this bread I break represent the flesh of my body and this wine represents the blood so its not actually that the christians is drinking his blood nor his eating his real flesh its just a comparison so I suggest u go and read the bible first before making comments like that

      Johnny - 2012-05-24 15:48

TY @SubGenius for making my point about the wise ass comments. Besides you are right, it has nothing to do with YOU or the rest of the world if they do not share my belief. That's why its a belief and just like you, shared MY view of this story.

  • JanHNortje - 2012-05-24 11:32

This sound like a over reaction. Not worth writing a article about if you ask me. "Satanic" really sound more like Twilight vans and kids being kids. This would blow over in a month or less when kids get board of it.

      dr.benway.creations - 2012-05-24 12:07

The voice of reason, hath spoken.

  • francois.swart1 - 2012-05-24 11:34

@ Martin your argument does not make sense. And it is very one sided. You claim that Satanism is about self worship and when Satanists commit crimes and kill people in the name of satan, satanism is not to blame but the individual, but when Christians commit crimes or kill people then Christianiy is to blame and not the individual... This is very one sided..

      bashin.monyela - 2012-05-24 11:52

Thats exactly what i told him, he's being a hypocrit.

      Martin - 2012-05-24 12:59

your comment makes no sense besides confirming what i said, self worship, then killing someone = me my own god killing someone= im responsible . there are apparently several kinds of satanism, the people who blindly follow the made up devil of christianity, and the athiestic la veyan ones, knowledge seekers vs psychopaths.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 13:25

@francious.swart1 I disagree why should christianity be blamed if a murder is committed by another person I strongly believe a christian that commits a murder will be himself or herself to be blamed and will be judged.far as satanism is involved its has to do wid ppl that wana follow it and worship and do those things

      Reggie666 - 2012-05-24 17:56

satanism has been around almost as long as christianity. Not because some guy saw the devil and gave him his soul, but because christianity came to fame through blood thirsty polatitions(spelling) who made it law. When u see your 1 true love and ur children, farm and everything u loved, ur hole world tortured and then slowly killed in front of u, would u not find the best way to destroy ur enemy. Even in the bible it shows cases of this. And all the pagan religions in rome delt in magic, let alone the surrounding countries. Look to the burning times. Even christians were burnt. Modern satanism is about being human, unrestricted, with logic and reason. Not some contextual bull system.

  • Dakey - 2012-05-24 11:39

As SubGenius stated, you're referring to 'LaVeyan Satanism', a philosophy (not considered a religion by many of its followers). LaVey wrote the 'Satanic Bible' in 1969. I don't think a Satanist needs subscribe to LaVey's interpretation or text and as long as they commit crimes by vandalising public property or engaging in ritual sacrifices of domestic animals or ritual murders, I'm glad the police are getting involved.

      Reggie666 - 2012-05-24 17:49

They dont do any of those things, and if u had done ur research also read his book, ur point would hold some sort of ground. And in any case, the roots of satanism come from the burning times. Just remember who threw the 1st stone.

      Dakey - 2012-05-25 16:03

@Reggie: I don't think you speak for everyone Reggie, at least not the ones that actually believe in the existence of Satan. Anyone who claims they are a Satanist, yet denies the existence of Satan is quite bluntly an idiot. That's akin to calling yourself a Vegetarian because you don't use sunscreen. Remembering who threw the 1st stone? Yep that ideology is one proving to be very successful among nations such as the USA and terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda. It is precisely that attitude at the core of most of our problems in this country today. Shall I remember the Boer War, concentration camps, slavery? Who threw the first stone there? Perhaps the witchdoctor that tried to kill my father and his brother because they were identical twins had some sort of motive?

  • Ari - 2012-05-24 12:00

. . . and the REAL Satanists are laughing at this childish distraction.

      Wilhelm - 2012-05-24 15:09

Yea. people think satanists walk around with black clothes and shouting about satan. But the fact is that they look exactly like the rest of the world. Satan himself comes disguised as an angel of light and so does his followers. So I agree, they laugh at the distraction because that display isn't nearly what satanism is all about.

      Reggie666 - 2012-05-24 17:44

satanism has nothing to do with christianity or worshiping satan. And the fact is its clear by the comments that both parties seem to miss the facts hear-what do the kids think? Who has chosen to sit and listen to them. Just listen.

  • rdeloca - 2012-05-24 12:02

Delve into satanism at your own peril. Do it not out of protest on your parents. The prize is a damnation from which reprieve is hard to find

Valecia ... religious opinion should never interfere with our legal system or be used by journalists to help sell newspapers. It's interference in these public arenas help taint the opinions of those in our society who haven't got the critical capacity to determine reality from sensationalism ... which I think is an accurate description of you ... judging by your comment.

  • Valecia - 2012-05-24 13:49

Or u could not talk to god and rather go to the kids and just listen. Typical christian, missing the real valid point totally. And that y christian families will always spawn baby satanists!

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 18:10

To damn hell wid what u say just becoz are a satanist u saying that we christians preach the word of so that the younger generations come to know the lord and that's why there is a thing called youths in church dumb ass.

      Lightbaal - 2012-05-25 02:14

Monotheism:christians, muslims, jews has all its beauty in its teachings,in fact it goes for all religion. The beauty is in what is different. Problem is the few diffences are seperating humanity instead of the majority agreeing to a common ground. How sure are you people your God is the one.ELIMINATE all religion or have one religion for all,so humanity may be one.The Jehova has always been a plea for blood. The race of the jinn feeds on blood, but the blood of different animals.if we can feed,y can't they,oh yes your bibles named the great jinn/gods of different regions devils so your God may be good.

      DeWet - 2012-05-25 09:57

@Valecia dont worry what these ppl say about Christians as long as you spread the good news of Jesus with love then that will be very good, and just another thing reggie666 isnt a satanist cause satanist are swarn to secretsy and by the way reggie God does talk to us and he loves You just as much as He loves us. May God send you all Hes love in Jesus name, Just watch out that all these comments doesnt lead to a fight cause then the real satanist will just enjoy it rather show love but Gods love.

  • DeWet - 2012-05-24 14:10

May our Lord Jesus Christ save these children. Lord I pray in Your Name to open the eyes of your Children that is lost and that you will protect us, cause our war is not against flesh but against the spirits of the air and of this wold, I ask that you will work through us so that the devil dont bring any dishonor to your name, I thank you in your Mighty Name Jesus Christ AMEN.

      Valecia - 2012-05-24 14:17

@dewet praise the lord indeed well said I really hope that ppl start opening their eyes and stop being blind all their life

      Give me a break!

      Lightbaal - 2012-05-25 01:50

Why is it The Devil/Satan who brings dishonor to Gods name? Where has wars and oppresion come from the most? The answer is:in the name of God. What makes Jesus name so mighty?

      Valecia - 2012-05-25 06:29

@lightbaal the reason why jesus is almighty is because he died on the cross for our sins he payed the price for each and everyone including ppl that don't worship he he is a god that loves everyone he doesn't hate ppl.that's what makes him mighty

      justin.vanniekerk - 2012-05-25 08:01

oh my! STOP PRAYING FOR GOD'S ASSISTANCE IN THESE ISSUES, and actually do something that can make a difference.

      Valecia - 2012-05-25 08:06

@justin what exactly would u do to make a difference in putting an end to this satanic rituals.

      justin.vanniekerk - 2012-05-25 08:24

@Valecia, I didn't say I had a solution to this problem but praying to god in the hopes that he is going 2 fix our issues would just be ignorant. prayer won't solve it. perhaps counselling, guidance and a better understanding as 2 why these kids have done such a thing would be a start? just maybe?

      Valecia - 2012-05-25 08:39

True but prayer does help in all types of religion cause I'm sure all religion as some kind of youth groups that can actually help discuss what issues and problems there are facing and making them engage in things that will keep them away from doing these kind of things.

      DeWet - 2012-05-25 09:43

Lightbaal can i just tell you that Jesus is almighty and that He loves you to. Justin the reason why we pray is we cant fight this battle with our own strength, we pray for guidens and strength, we are doing something iam in the counceling and believe me we dont do anything with out God, but God gives us the strength, in word it says the prayer of a believer has a mighty out come so do your part and pray so that these children can be helped. Go Bless you all.

  • elsie.vorster.5 - 2012-05-24 14:32

Drinking blood and drawing upside down crosses doesn not mean that these kids are into satanism. There is far more to it than just this. In my opinion these are kids who are looking for attention and have got it. Counsellors should be called into the school and counsel these kids to get to the root of the problem. I'm sure most of them love Father God but doing this is either for attention or experimental. Yes some may have an inclination of going onto the dark side, and are drawing othere with them for the fun aspect. Give these kids grace and sort out the root cause of their actions.

      DeWet - 2012-05-25 09:35

That is just the thing yes it doesnt mean they are in satanism but they are opening doors to evil spirits and that is what the problem is, i agree send councelers to the school but they must work in the Name of Jesus and under the Holy Spirit.

  • StJohn - 2012-05-24 17:58

Satanism No ,kids trying to be cool yes. Today's christians are more satanic than satanist. All of them following leper messiah's. Christians today have lost the point of what it means to be christian ,including muslim's and jews. So carry on watching the kardashians its super christian.

      Lightbaal - 2012-05-25 01:56

Its a pity the majority of people who sees your reply would disagree, but that is their denial and hypocrisy as what you said is fact, not the fiction people choose to believe.

  • justin.vanniekerk - 2012-05-25 08:16

These kids are obviously misinformed, looking for attention or attempting to seek popularity amongst their peers. But pls pls pls stop PRAYING for these kids and think you are doing your part for the betterment of these children(this is just ignorance). They are in need of counselling or discipline or perhaps guidance. their frame of mind needs to be rectified and prayer just isn't going 2 cut it.

  • Virginia - 2012-05-25 08:20

Bored stupid kids. Actually if they did what they're supposed to do at school they would have at least a chance of finding employment later. Save the rod and spoil the child definitely applies here.

  • melanie.pieterkosky - 2012-05-25 09:18

This is not Satanism, this is kids acting out. See Martin's comments for Anton LaVay Satanism (he called it that to piss people off). There are other forms, but as long as they do not infringe on another's rights, all forms of worship/religion/philosophy are protected in SA.
