Mahikeng - There was jubilation and music in Potchefstroom on Thursday where Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe was to deliver a lecture in honour of President Jacob Zuma.

Delegates packed the Nelson Mandela banquet hall singing "we go with Zuma's second term". Gospel singers entertained the audience.

The lecture is part of the ANC’s centenary celebrations honouring the party's presidents, and is the last before their elective conference in Mangaung. Zuma's brothers, Joseph and Mike Zuma and his daughter Thuthukile were present at the lecture.

ANC chairperson Baleka Mbete and KwaZulu-Natal Premier Zweli Mkhize were among the party's leadership present.

Zuma's wives MaNtuli, MaBhida and Makhumalo were also in attendance.

Roads surrounding the venue were blocked to traffic.

Not sure I see how they can honour this thieving, corrupt, uneducated thug. He should be ridiculed and vilified. Besides, does he even understand any of those big words or will there be someone next to him drawing pictures so he can understand?
