Johannesburg - Two people found guilty of murdering Kirsty Theologo during an alleged satanic ritual are expected to be sentenced in the South Gauteng High Court, sitting in Palm Ridge, on Friday.

Four people were initially in the dock for the murder but on Thursday, one was acquitted and the other given a suspended sentence.

Linden Wagner and Robin Harwood were however found guilty on all three charges.

Harvey Isha was acquitted on all charges while Courtney Daniels was found guilty of common assault. Daniels was found guilty after it was established that she poured brake fluid into the drinks of Theologo and her friend.

Daniels was sentenced for six months which was suspended for five years on condition that she was not found guilty of assault again.

The four had pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and attempted murder.

Theologo died of her injuries in hospital a week after an apparent satanic ritual on a hill in Linmeyer, Johannesburg, in October 2011. Her friend was also assaulted but survived the attack.
