Skipper drowns in KZN accident

Johannesburg - A man drowned when his boat capsized on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday morning, the National Sea Rescue Institute said.

Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said the man, who was the skipper of the boat, was with four other men who were on a fishing trip when the boat capsized.

Lambinon said the four men in their 20's swam to shore but the skipper who was in 50's, drowned.

      Yes beverly it was a conspiracy that the boat would be taken out and be capsized so the man could die. Seriously the things people say!!!!

      Where did they mention no life jackets Robert? Boat capsized, so there could be a number of reasons why he died! sad accident, RIP fellow fisherman

    My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace ntanga (means people of the same age in Nguni). Even though I never met you in life maybe I've lunched or dined on one of your catches because fish is the only meat my doctor allows me to eat.
