Cape Town - Another cold front is set to hit the Western Cape on Monday but conditions are expected to brighten up later in the week.

Weather SA forecaster Rian Smit told Eyewitness News: “We are expecting another cold front to make landfall and that’s going to cause more rain. It will be quite rapid, nothing compared to what we had these past couple of days.”

However, Smit said warmer spring conditions can be expected in a few days’ time.

“Conditions will greatly improve this week and we will begin seeing more sunny days.”

Three people died in the stormy weather last week while thousands were left destitute.
