Theft and fraud... Exactly like every single other Top Cop in the cANCer ranks. For some reason they are no longer Zuma's friends thus no longer protected (Like Juju) and all of a sudden they are getting prosecuted...

Despicable traitors if found Guilty. Charge them with Treason as well if allegations are fruitful.

Terrible, but really pocket money in grand scheme of theft from the state.

Good thing to charge those accused of wrong doing but the prosecuting authority seem to be a bit selective in whom they want to bring to book.

are there any honorable cops left in SA - this new police chief seems to be hiding out somewhere, after she was appointed she disappeared like a fart in a tornado.

The head of Crime Intelligence, Richard Mdluli, was investigated and found to have looted the Slush Fund. The Minister of Police tried to keep him in SAPS by moving him sideways, but finally gave in and suspended him. The man doesn't even have security clearance. Yet no charges.

      doug.meaker.5 - 2012-12-11 16:55

Garbage Mrs Kohler. You claim Mdluli was "found to have looted" the slush fund...what judgement and when specifically? Investigation is not the same as judgement. And when Mdluli was found innocent of the murder charges you parroted daily, and the judge said it DID look like a conspiracy against him...where was your concession or apology? Indeed the judge said it looked like a conspiracy BECAUSE he was investigated so relentlessly - unlike others who are not investigated. And the same has happened with the slush fund - how much vigour has been applied by the investigative press and the criminal justice system re Solly Lazarus' actions over the last ten years? Is it not true that hundreds of millions have gone to a private security company staffed largely by ex-apartheid spies with dubious records, a company started by someone with the same surname as Lazarus? Why the deafening silence when one of your own is suspected of crime? Your single minded diatribes against "the usual suspects" who are too often black has done more to harm race relations in SA than you realize.
