Johannesburg - A teenager was killed and six other people injured in an accident involving six cars and two trucks on Saturday, Ekurhuleni emergency services said. Spokesman William Ntladi said the accident occurred on the N3 north /N12 bound split at Gillooly's interchange."Six vehicles and two super link trucks fully loaded with fertilisers and diesel respectively were all involved in the collision."He said two people were trapped inside a car crashed into by one of the trucks."Specialised rescue tools [Jaws of Life] were used to free the patients from the wreckage and unfortunately the teenager was declared dead on scene," he said.Six people were transported by ambulance to various hospitals around Ekurhuleni."Two were in critical conditions, two were in serious but stable conditions and the other two suffered minor injuries," Ntladi said.
