Tragic! @News24, when you post an article and you make a vague statement like 'teenager', you should be more specific. Was he thirteen, sixteen, eighteen etc. You probably have scores of people thinking that it was a youngster without a license. Which might not be the case. If you know he is a teen, surely you must have established his age. Its the same as saying 'retired citizen having a baby', this could mean somebody in her 70's or a rich business person retiring in their 40's.

      He was in Grade 10.

well if you use a little intuition and brain capacity i'd say its safe to assume the 'teenager' was between the ages of 16-19 and does have a valid 125cc learner's bike licence... do you not think they might have mentioned him/her being unlicensed and under-aged if that was the case.

This time it was not the biker's fault. He was waiting to turn at the robot and the car raced through the intersection and collided with the bike. Both people and the bike were flung metres into the sky.

This sickens me. Apparently it is a woman driver who knocked these young souls on 125 speed bike (the slowest bike for beginners!!!!!) She is still at her home, enjoying freedom of life while two lives are lost in her recklessness!!!! Kyle sounds like the bunch that doesn't consider bikers at all.............. NEWSFLASH - most bike accidents are caused by inconsiderate, oblivious motorists with that mindset. Those were kids. Nothing justifies taking someone's life. You have no idea how torn all families are by this and the woman is still free in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my deepest condolences to the families. The boy who passed on first was only 16!! Had just turned 16 and was teaching himself to ride a bike with the smalles slowest bike in the market. A sweet boy from a loving family! He will be deeply missed by many!

@brandon. Does it matter how old the youngster was? I think not. The fact of the matter is he is dead and it wasn't his fault.

@brandon.mccutheon.56. Does it matter how old he was? He died. It was not his fault by all accounts. It sickens me to hear how many bikers die by the hands of motorist who just don't care.
