Traffic warning ahead of Kungwane funeral

Johannesburg - Motorists are warned of anticipated traffic disruption and congestion in Alexandra, Johannesburg, ahead of the memorial service of Isaac "Shakes" Kungwane, Gauteng traffic police said on Tuesday.

Kungwane died last Wednesday in hospital. His funeral will be held on Saturday in Fafung near Brits.

"There will be soft road closures on 12th, 13th Avenues between Roosevelt Road and Vincent Tshabalala Road (London Road)," said Gauteng traffic spokesperson Obed Sibasa.

The memorial service for the former Kaizer Chiefs talisman would take place at Three Square in Alexandra.
