The proposed programme by the Department of Labour will see the beneficiaries receive civil and construction training through a learnership programme at NQF Level 3.

Municipal manager Mxolisi Nkosi signed the partnership deal between the Department of Labour, uMgungundlovu Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College and the municipality.

Msunduzi will not fund the programme, but will serve as “host employers” aimed at providing workplace experience for the pupils.
