Two killed in Cape Town crash

Cape Town - Two people died in an accident on the Potsdam Road near Du Noon in the Western Cape, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) said on Saturday.

EMS spokesperson Keri Davids said the accident, involving one bakkie, took place at around 21:00 on Friday.

"The cause of the accident is not yet known," she said.

Both victims were catapulted from the bakkie and declared dead on the scene."

Three other people, two women and a man, were treated for various injuries before being rushed to a nearby hospital.
