Two killed in Joburg pile up

Johannesburg - Two people were killed in an accident involving three trucks, a minibus taxi and a car along the M31 Heidelberg Road on Tuesday, Johannesburg metro police said.

A truck crashed into a car, two trucks, and a minibus taxi at a traffic light, police spokesperson Edna Mamonyane said.

"A male and a female in the car were killed. The male is trapped in the wreckage. The driver was critically injured," she said.

Six people in the minibus taxi and the driver of the truck that caused the accident were slightly injured. The drivers of two other trucks were not hurt.
