Western Cape not quite done with summer

Cape Town - After the heavy rains of the past week and a snap of cold weather, Western Cape locals are in for a balmy week of summery weather.

Forecasters told Die Burger that not only was no rain forecast for the week, but temperatures would hit some summer highs.

On Monday, some high-level clouds could feature but it is expected to be sunny from Tuesday.

Temperatures for Cape Town would reach a maximum of 24°C on Monday, 27°C in Paarl and Malmesbury would see 29°C.

On Tuesday the mercury would rise to 26°C in Cape Town and 31°C in Vredendal.
