2012-10-29 14:05

Johannesburg - A 60-year-old woman was expected to appear in the Elliotdale Magistrate's Court on murder charges on Monday, Eastern Cape police said.

Captain Zamukulungisa Jozana said she was arrested on Friday after beating to death a 75-year-old man in the Mbutye area.

"It is alleged the man had a quarrel with her and she hit him with the back of the sjambok... He died at the scene."

The cause of the argument was not known.

@ Andrea why did you stop? Men have been getting away with murder since the begining of time. ShelleyV...Good for you at least you have your day...I wanted to do the same but feared I would kill him. My priority as a mum was to be there for my children...I wasnt going to let him ruin more lives. So I left him.

Good for you! I have an aunt who had a useless drunk for a husband and he had a prosthetic leg (after losing his leg in a car accident many years ago), so one day while he was passed our she took the leg and hid it in a cupboard. She then started moering him with a pan or something and of course he could get up but not chase after her. Unfortunately he never stopped drinking and was murdered (not by her!). Although all of that happened very long ago we still laugh about it today!
