Johannesburg - A 61-year-old woman was killed and her daughter injured when two men attacked them at their home in Mount Fletcher, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.

The woman was with her six children when they were attacked with sticks at their homestead on Thursday afternoon, Lieutenant Raphael Motloung said.

"The suspects allegedly torched the hut and then left."

The woman's 16-year-old daughter, who was injured in the attack, managed to escape with her siblings to a neighbouring homestead and call the police.

The woman died on the scene. No arrests had been made and the motive for the attack was unknown.

It's like they need a dose of killing to satisfy a need for it. Why God put these creatures on earth is above me. I can't understand what goes through their minds to do things like these...

Savages. Blood thirsty bastards who kill for sport. They make me sick. I hope if and when the cops catch them they shoot the bastards on sight rather than lock them up and waste my tax money!

The community must organize a commando (posse as the Americans call it), hunt them down. They should be given a 5 minute trial (evidence is so compelling) and a speedy exit to the next world. They will then never again commit the same crime in this world.
