Woman, 76, found strangled on Limpopo farm

Polokwane - No arrest has yet been made in connection to the murder of an elderly woman on a farm in Lephalale, Limpopo police said on Thursday.

"Investigation continues. Suspects are unknown," said Colonel Ronel Otto.

She said the woman, aged 76, was found dead on Wednesday morning.

"A piece of wire was found next to her body. We suspect she was strangled but [a] post-mortem will determine the cause of death."

Two cellphones and her Ford Bantam bakkie were stolen.
