Woman describes finding mom's body

Pretoria - A woman has told the Pretoria High Court how she found her murdered elderly mother’s body among clothing on the floor of her upmarket home in the Equestria security estate in Pretoria.

Ute Maria Wiing, 70, was killed in the Silver Mist complex in May 2010 during an alleged robbery, reported the Pretoria News.

Wiing’s daughter, Patricia Heinze, testified how she became worried after she couldn’t get hold of her mother on the phone.

Heinze told how she came into the house and saw the TV on the floor with three wine bottles next to it.

In the kitchen she saw the freezer door was open and the food they had had for dinner two days ago was still on the table.

She went upstairs and saw everything was in disarray before discovering her mother’s body.

“She was tied up. I felt her hands and they were cold. Her face was black and blue and her hands were blue. She was cold all over,” said Heinze.

Wiing’s body was found among clothes and other items pulled from the cupboard. Something had been stuffed in her mouth.

Three men were facing charges of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

Time to start public executions. Lead them to the town square and behead them in front of their family and friends. Maybe then these animals will start a rational thought process.

Yes and make it compulsory that all the town folk and children are there to see it happen. Make it a public holiday and kill all of these parasites in one day.

I cannot think of anything worse than finding a loved one murdered like that. I am starting to think life behind Pollsmoor bars might be a really good idea, provided they NEVER get out. They should rot away and die of (very) old age there. Let the flies feast.

Andrea Solitary confinement for all of these parasites.

I am in the "over 50" category, but if just one of them gets close to a door, I have 3 magazines of hollow points waiting. I will NOT be a statistic, murdered and tortured in my own home. Frikking scum!

Don't ever be fooled into buying property just because the words Secure are used in the name. Complex security in general is very poor and as the costs of using security personnel rises more and more, people including these so called secure complexes reduce staff to reduce their own costs. Always look at the size of the complex, against the number of security personnel on duty at any given time, check what their duties are and the number of patrols that are done as well as the frequency of the patrols. Check whether there is an emergency button or other system that will notify the security staff on duty in the complex if you have an emergency , although off site armed response is also a good thing, remember that they are in general 5 minutes away and this response time will vary depending on traffic volumes and whether the officers are already at another call out or not. If all the security arrangements are satisfactory and the complex is being sold using the "secure" angle ensure that the numbers of staff and patrols etc are part of the purchase agreement or accept that you have no claim when they reduce staff.
