Durban – A man survived miraculously after he was ejected out of a truck and flung over a bridge in Bloemfontein, paramedics said on Saturday.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said at around 13:05 paramedics were called to attend to an accident scene on the N1 near Kenneth Kaunda Road after a truck reportedly collided into the barriers

“The unrestrained driver was ejected through the front window and flung over a bridge, his body landing on the ground fifteen meters below the road level.”

Botha said paramedics had to clamber down the embankment with their equipment to stabilise the critically wounded man.
