Body discovered in Steenbras river

Cape Town – A body was recovered from the Steenbras River mouth, Gordons Bay, on Wednesday after it was spotted from a helicopter, the NSRI said.

They arrived at the scene shortly before noon and recovered the unidentified man’s body, National Sea Rescue Institute Gordons Bay station commander Alan Meiklejohn said.

An inquest docket was opened and police were investigating.
