Carolus, Kasrils and others join call for Zuma to step down

Johannesburg – More top activists and ANC members on Wednesday called for President Jacob Zuma to step down after last week’s Constitutional Court ruling.

“I call on my president to step down,” said former deputy ANC secretary general Cheryl Carolus.

“I never thought the day would come when I'd be ashamed of my president,” she continued.

Carolus was joined on Constitution Hill by former intelligence minister Ronnie Kasrils, former judge Zac Yacoob, Zwelinzima Vavi, Ronald Lamola, and others.
