Johannesburg - A dog is fighting for its life after an intruder stabbed it in the chest at a home in Allens Nek, Roodepoort, on Tuesday, paramedics said.
They were called to the property after a security company’s guards found the animal, ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.
The guards tried to keep the dog alive after it lost a lot of blood. It is about five years old.
Paramedics rushed the dog to a veterinarian in Randpark Ridge.
