Durban - A man died and two others were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on a highway in KwaMashu, Durban paramedics said on Sunday.

The vehicle had rolled several times on the M25 on Saturday night before coming to a rest on its roof, said Crisis Medical spokesperson Kyle van Reenen.

“Reports from the scene suggest the driver lost control at high speed, causing the vehicle to overturn, however the exact facts will be investigated by local authorities.”

The driver, in his twenties, was declared dead on arrival at the scene.

Two passengers were moderately injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
