The man had purportedly crashed the luxury Italian sports
car at the Virginia traffic circle, with medics finding him trapped in the
wreckage.
“Paramedics worked together to extricate the driver of the
Ferrari. With the assistance of Advanced Life support paramedics, the driver
successfully stabilised on scene although he is still in critical condition.
Once fully immobilised and placed on a ventilator, he was transported to
hospital by Crisis Medical paramedics,” Powell had said.
Witness reports at the scene indicated the vehicle was
travelling at high speed down Mackeurtan Avenue.
“The driver lost control of the vehicle just before entering the circle,
causing it to collide with the barrier. The vehicle rolled before coming to a
stop on its roof inside the circle, leaving the driver trapped inside.”
