Cape Town - An elderly woman was murdered in her home in Paradyskloof, Stellenbosch, on Thursday in broad daylight, Eikestadnuus reported.

The woman’s domestic worker went to the shop about 12:30 and, when she returned half an hour later, she found the woman dead in her chair.

She had been stabbed.

The police were still on the scene, Netwerk24 reported.
