Cape Town – A vegetation fire near the upmarket Twelve Apostles Hotel in Cape Town poses no danger to property, a city official said on Monday.

Safety and security director Richard Bosman said firefighters are damping down hotspots on the Oudekraal mountainside.

Two fire engines and a water tanker remain on scene.

The fire started on Sunday evening.
