Cape Town - Fourteen people were hurt when a taxi rolled and landed in someone’s garden near the Inanda Dam, Durban, on Sunday.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing in a statement said the driver lost control of the vehicle on Ngwele Road.

“When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they found the taxi lying on its side,” she said.

“Patients were lying and sitting in the garden. Members of the public were assisting the patients.”

Three patients were found to have sustained moderate injuries and 11 others suffered minor injuries. They were transported to hospital after being treated on the scene.
