One of the men arrested for the murder of an ANC ward councillor in Knysna, Western Cape, appeared in court on Wednesday, police said.Ward 8 councillor Victor Molosi, who is also the leader of the ANC in the council, died after he was gunned down metres from his house in Knysna in the Southern Cape in July. News24 previously reported that Molosi had apparently been on his way from a school governing body meeting at Concordia High School when a gunman approached him.The gunman fired several shots at him. Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie said his bail application was postponed to October 3. He remained in custody. His three co-accused Mwanda Makala, 42, Velile Waxa, 58, and Vela Dumisa, 37, appeared in the same court last week. They are also charged with murder.Their bail application was postponed to October 24.
