High seas with wave heights of 6 to 7 metres are expected in places between Cape Point and East London from Friday afternoon, according to the South African Weather Service.

It is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy and cool along the coastal regions, while inland conditions are expected to be fine and warm.

The Eastern Cape is expected to be cloudy and cool along the coast. It will become cloudy in the south. The wind along the coast will be fresh.

It will be fine and warm but hot in places over the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal. It will become partly cloudy to cloudy in the afternoon with evening isolated showers in the southeast. The wind along the coast will be moderate. The expected UVB sunburn index will be high.
