After a day filled with amazing performances by some of the best musicians in the world and  speeches by activists and world leaders, Global Citizen easily became one of the most monumental events of the year.

Close to 80 000 fans gathered at the FNB stadium on Sunday morning and everything went according to plan, however, according to people who attended, it was when the event was over and everyone was exiting the stadium that things went south.

From getting robbed of their phones to not getting rides home, many attendees shared their experiences on social media following the event.
