Herschelle Gibbs back in court

2015-12-14 06:18

Pretoria - Former Proteas cricket player Herschelle Gibbs is expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday on a drunken driving charge.

The appearance comes after Gibbs missed his last court sitting, allegedly because he was not in the country.

Gibbs was arrested after he was allegedly involved in a collision in Camps Bay. No one was injured in the crash, but Gibbs was allegedly speeding when he crashed into a Toyota.

Gibbs was charged with reckless driving in 2009 after an accident in Seapoint, but the case was withdrawn.
