The Moerane Commission of Inquiry into political killings in KwaZulu-Natal visited Durban’s notorious Glebelands Hostel, which witnesses described as a ‘reservoir of hitmen’ for both political and taxi industry killings.

Photographer Siyanda Mayeza tagged along to capture the living conditions of the residents of the hostel, where at least 89 people have been murdered since March 2014.
