Pretoria - It was an early morning for a rushed Gert Koekemoer as he and his wife and 3-year-old son were fourth in line to cast their vote at Kaya Beach restaurant in Grootfontein.Koekemoer said they were early because he had to get to hospital. He added that he felt that every single vote counted and therefore it was important for people to do their duty as citizens."We are a bit surprised by how few people there are here this early. During the previous election we were also early and by 7:00 the queue was already very long."An excited Samantha Holder, a high school pupil couldn't wait to cast her first ever vote, said she felt it was important to help and choose the ruling party.Voting started smoothly and on time, with queues moving quite quickly.
