Bloemfontein - Residents of Mangaung started queuing at Rekgonne Primary School as early as 02:00 on Wednesday morning to vote. By 05:45, there was already a long queue braving the the cold weather. Some people huddled under blankets."This is an important day for us. I woke up so excited and most of us arrived here at 2am. I believe after voting we are going to have someone who is going to bring us change," said Litaba Mokhotsana, who lives a few blocks away from the voting station. Another resident, Karele Nto, 61, said it was important to "vote out laziness". "I am here to vote for toilets actually. We want proper toilets and after this we better have toilets. I don't want a lot, just toilets," he said.
