Durban - KwaZulu-Natal paramedics have warned people to exercise caution as flooding hit parts of the province on Monday.
EMS spokesperson Robert McKenzie warned those using the roads not to attempt crossing low-lying rivers or flooded roads.
"Please don't attempt to cross swollen rivers or drive through flooded roads," he said.
It is understood that the police’s Search and Rescue Unit had been placed on high alert.
