Man killed as car rips in two in North West crash

Potchefstroom - A man died when his car was ripped into two pieces when it crashed into a tree and boundary wall in Potchefstroom late on Tuesday night, paramedics said. 

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said the two pieces were lying several metres apart on a sidewalk.

A man, believed to have been the driver, was found in the front passenger seat. He was in a critical condition, and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died.
